Lawrinson duo to call Crusaders home in 2024

North Wales Crusaders are delighted to have secured the services of father and son duo, Alan and Lewis Lawrinson for the 2024 season.

Former Warrington Wolves founder, Alan and son Lewis have opted to extend their stay with the Crusaders for a further season.


Warrington Wolves heritage number 8,  Player, Alan Lawrinson  and son, Warrington Wolves heritage number 9, Lewis, came to the Crusaders at two different points as Lewis joined midway through the 2019 campiagn whilst father Alan joined ahead of the 2020 season.


Both were founding members of the Wolves' Wheelchair setup and came to Crusaders through their connection with Head Coach Harry Jones, who was opperating a pernership between both the Crusaders and the Wolves. 


Lewis made his Crusaders debut at the 2019 Peacock Cup, scoring a try on debut whilst Alan made his debut for the Crusaders in the 2020 campaign and made his debut against Ebbw Vale prior to the season being called short due to the Covid-19 pandemic.


Alan made 7 appearances for the Crusaders last season whilst Lewis went on to make 9 appearances, including two for the 'First Team', securing himself a haul of 8 tries.
